This course highlights one of today’s fastest growing criminal enterprises: human trafficking. The course will discuss historical and modern perspectives of trafficking, applicable laws, scope and prevalence of this crime, and emerging domestic and international trends. It will further provide law enforcement, victim service providers, and community partners with investigatory and trauma informed skills to support the survivor while building successful outcomes.

Riverside County Sheriff's Office and Grant Management USA will present a two-day grant management workshop in Riverside on November 17-18, 2025. This in-person training is for grant recipient organizations across all disciplines. Attend this class and you'll learn how to administer government grants, stay in compliance with current OMB rules and regulations, and survive an audit.
Beginning and experienced grant managers, grant writers and administrators from city, county and state agencies, healthcare organizations, public safety, colleges and universities, K-12, and nonprofit organizations are encouraged to attend.

This 16-hour course is designed to be an introduction to the Human Trafficking series, applicable laws and how the State California is currently responding to this emerging threat. The course will provide a generalized overview of laws, California’s law enforcement and victim service approach and will highlight case management strategies consistent with a trauma informed care and victim centered approach.
